An experience with a deep connection to nature
Casa Saba can be found on a hill in the countryside surrounding Jesi, midway between the sea and the mountains, half an hour from the Conero riviera and the panoramic town of Cingoli or the magical Caves of Frasassi. It is a home but it’s also a working farm with agritourism, offering bed and breakfast accommodation. We have chosen the motto “Hospitality with a View”, because visitors have always exclaimed, “What a stunning view you have from up here!” It is a starting point for organising a holiday with experiences of all the different locations and flavours of a region just waiting to be discovered. We offer a warm, friendly welcome to all our guests. Our garden blends into the crops, and in the middle, you will also find our animal companions, the horses, dogs, and cats. We offer you a peaceful experience, a chance to contemplate, to enjoy the clean air, and to reconnect, taking the time to regenerate. A walk through the property offers you an experience of the countryside in the Marche, with hedges, benches and flower beds with tall grasses to attract bees and butterflies, an orchard, vegetable garden, a small willow wood, and the chance to soak up the rays on our sun loungers, or enjoy our garden bathtubs.

ABOUT ME
I love the smell of freshly cut grass, the buzzing of the bees, the smell of a horse’s coat. I love to get to know my guests and offer them a piece of my world. The quiet of working in the countryside, discovering that I can hear the wind bringing the rain. I believe in things made on a smaller scale, done well, and also that #lifeissomethingdifferent.

All the room comforts
The property is entirely fenced, the road is asphalted, and there is a large parking area for problem-free enjoyment of the countryside. Every room has its own entrance, with table and chairs where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. The rooms – all different – have been furnished with reclaimed materials and with particular focus on the lighting, which can be adjusted to suit the needs of guests, and on curtains to block out more or less light.
The furnishings are bright and colourful, but it is the wallpaper that is the focal point, giving each room its name: Tulipano, Corbezzolo, Peonia, and Cardo. Each room has an en-suite with shower.

BREAKFAST
Wholesome produce
Breakfast is an important meal for the traveler. In our breakfast room, or outdoor seating area, you can enjoy our home-baked bread, cakes and focaccias, all made with our own flour. There are also preserves made with our own fruit, and natural fruit juices. Any products that we cannot make ourselves are sourced from nearby farms, and include an excellent selection of honeys and cheeses.
THE FARM
The farm began in 2017, to grow hay for my horses. This was quickly followed by a vegetable garden, care for the countryside, and the charm of the tractor. My grandparents had left me a small collection of citrus plants in pots that came here from Lombardy to put down its roots. Gradually I have been able to add to fruit production with a small selection of home-made preserves, and I have also bucked the trend by growing soft wheat, which I use to make a stone-ground flour that is both natural and full of flavour. I continue to choose a more natural lifestyle.
I read a lot and try to learn everything I can about this profession, which is new to me, even if I have a partner who has been teaching me and sharing all his knowledge, trying to keep my feet on the ground when I let my mind race off a little too quickly. My newest project has to do with herbs and saffron. In the future, I see a wood. These years in the countryside have taught me to seek out collaboration and an equilibrium and I believe that grasses, shrubs and trees need to gather together. The hills of the Marche are beautiful, but conventional agriculture is not for me.
PRODUCE
Our Produce
Small batches of jams and preserves and fruit juices. Availability depends on the season, but you will find type 2 flour all year round. You can arrange to buy produce from the house – I look forward to seeing you! We also make Christmas boxes and gift packages for all occasions.
